In 2023, I began working with text, transforming it into my own expression of illegible typography. I took a medium meant to be read, like written language, and turned it into my own script as an act of self-sabotage. The act of making a text showable for myself. The texts are a selection of daily poems I wrote during the period when I first moved to the Netherlands. The photos that cover the calligraphy are ones I found in my phone's camera roll, taken in the rush of quotidian life, reflecting my habit of taking photos without being selective.
